If you receive a request for a copy of your Social Security Card, it means that Âé¶¹Ó³»­´«Ã½ has a blank or invalid Social Security Number (SSN) on file for you. Not having a valid SSN on file will prevent you from having aid awarded through Florida Bright Futures and/or the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Additionally, a valid SSN is required to process certain third party payments, such as Florida Prepaid.
