Program Information
The Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ Architecture 2 + 2 + 2 degree offers a convenient, affordable and flexible pathway. Students may complete an associate’s degree (lower division courses) at Valencia College, a bachelor’s degree (upper division courses) at Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½, and a master’s degree at the University of Florida. Students also have the option to join Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ as FTIC (“first time in college”) students and complete the lower division courses as transient students at Valencia.
Architecture is a competitive and rigorous program with an immersive, time-intensive, studio-based curriculum. Multiple review points ensure students are prepared to succeed academically and professionally.
- Studio test: Prospective students must complete a during the spring semester as part of their application to start lower-level ARC courses at Valencia College. Top-scoring applicants are admitted into ARC1301C (Design 1).
- Portfolio Review (“Pin-Up”): Prior to upper-division study at Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½, students must successfully pass a , or “pin-up,” of their strongest studio work. Top scoring applicants are admitted into ARC3320L (Design 5).
- Graduate Study: After completing the bachelor’s degree, students may apply to graduate programs nationwide or continue in the 2+2+2 pathway through the in downtown Orlando.
