The Exceptional Student Education Master of Education program at ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½ is designed for certified teachers seeking to deepen their expertise in supporting Pre-K-12 students with disabilities. This special education graduate program prepares professionals to design inclusive, effective learning environments that support various learners, from autism spectrum disorder to those who have both high- and low-incidence disabilities.
You will build advanced skills in assessing student needs, designing differentiated curriculum, and applying data-driven decision-making to improve student learning outcomes. Coursework focuses on research and practical application, including behavior and classroom–management strategies that support learners across ability levels. In this program, you will engage in action research that directly translates to your professional practice and the students you serve.
You can also choose to take elective courses within specific areas of concentration — some of which count toward a graduate certificate such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Collaborative Intervention Specialist, or Language and Literacy.
This degree is intended for professional growth and does not prepare students for initial teaching, administrative or supervisory certification.
Whether you’re already a certified exceptional student education teacher or a certified educator in another area, you’ll gain practical skills that translate directly to the classroom — all while accelerating your personal career trajectory. Applied Behavior Analysis Track
The Applied Behavior Analysis track prepares certified educators to develop advanced skills in behavior assessment, intervention design, and data-driven decision-making grounded in evidence-based practice. Graduates are equipped to pursue Board Certified Behavior Analysis (BCBA) certification and lead impactful roles across education, healthcare and community settings, improving outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities.

Organization and Collaboration in Special Ed
