Orange County Commissioners praised the ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½ Downtown project Tuesday and unanimously committed $3 million toward the campus.

Orange County’s commitment comes just days before ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½ leaders are scheduled to update the Florida Board of Governors on the downtown campus and request its approval.
βWe firmly believe that the programs weβve identified to come downtown will be made better because of the environment. and the amenities of downtown will increase the educational opportunities for our students,β said Fred Kittinger, ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½βs Associate VP of University Relations, during his presentation to the Orange County Commission.
