Earlier this month, Orange County Public School\u2019s Academic Center for Excellence community school opened in Parramore<\/a>\u00a0across the street from\u00a0Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Downtown<\/a>. Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ is proud to be a lead partner in the ACE school, which incorporates before- and after-school enrichment programs and resources for parents, as well as on-site medical and dental services for students, their families and the community.<\/p>\n

This is not the first community school where Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ has provided support for teaching and curriculum, in addition to aiding the school\u2019s operational strategies. Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½\u2019s community school model was recently lauded in The Wall Street Journal<\/em> for helping teens in the Pine Hills neighborhood, increasing enrollment by 17 percent at nearby Evans High School and raising graduation rates from 64 percent to 88 percent.<\/p>\n
