The ΒιΆΉΣ³»­΄«Γ½ today was named by °­Ύ±±θ±τΎ±²Τ²΅±π°ω’s magazine as one of the nation’s 100 best values among public colleges and universities, the third consecutive year ΒιΆΉΣ³»­΄«Γ½ has made the list.

ΒιΆΉΣ³»­΄«Γ½ placed 42nd in the annual compilation, which ranks institutions based on academic quality, admission and retention rates, student-faculty ratios, and graduation rates in addition to cost and financial aid.

The list was pared down from nearly 600 public four-year schools.

β€œWe are pleased that ΒιΆΉΣ³»­΄«Γ½ is again being recognized for providing a high-quality education and a great value for our students,” said ΒιΆΉΣ³»­΄«Γ½ Provost and Executive Vice President Tony Waldrop.”

The online rankings were released today and will appear in °­Ύ±±θ±τΎ±²Τ²΅±π°ω’s February issue on newsstands Jan. 1.

Earlier this year, ΒιΆΉΣ³»­΄«Γ½ also was named a β€œbest value” by The Princeton Review.

The Princeton Review, one of the nation’s best-known education services and test-preparation companies, annually selects 150 institutionsβ€”75 public universities and 75 private collegesβ€”from a list of 650 schools it identifies as having excellent academics.
