Patel will give a presentation entitled \u201cStuffed and Starved: The Hidden Battle for the World Food System\u201d at 3 p.m. in the Key West Ballroom of the Student Union. The event, organized by the Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½ Global Perspectives Office, is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n
Patel, a sometimes controversial and often outspoken critic of the current structure of the global food system, has worked for some of the world\u2019s most prominent international organizations and protested against many of their policies, seeking to find ways to improve global food distribution.<\/p>\n
