The Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Public Safety team welcomed its newest patrol officers at a swearing-in ceremony attended by family, friends and colleagues last week.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt the Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Police Department, we strive to be the most professional and innovative campus police department in the country,\u201d says Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Police Chief Carl Metzger \u201903MS<\/strong>. \u201cWe do that by hiring the best and the brightest \u2026 and Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½PD is in great hands with the addition of these three officers.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new officers will be assigned to the patrol division upon completion of their field-training program, where they will spend several weeks paired with senior officers to receive hands-on experience out in the field before graduating to solo patrol.<\/p>\n
