We have allocated $1.5 million to Plug and Play to help boost local business growth and continue our vision of a connected and sustainable future,\u201d says Orange County Major Jerry Demings.<\/p>\n<p>This collaboration aims to leverage the strong ecosystem of expertise and resources in the region \u2014 driving the development of innovative solutions for smart cities.<\/p>\n<p>Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ offers <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/degree\/civil-engineering-ms\/smart-cities\/\">smart cities master\u2019s degree track in civil engineering<\/a>, the nation\u2019s first such degree offered in the engineering field. Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ is also home to the Future City initiative, which provides research and educational opportunities in smart city technologies.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlug and Play\u2019s intentional focus on fostering partnerships and creating new opportunities aligns seamlessly with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/orlando\/\">Orlando and Central Florida, a region where collaboration and innovation flourish<\/a>,\u201d says Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ President Alexander N.
