The much-anticipated Homecoming Week<\/a> is back this fall, bringing a full lineup of unforgettable events for students, alumni, faculty and staff. From Oct. 13-19, a variety of activities \u2014 including special events for Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ alumni \u2014 will take place across both the main and Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ Downtown campuses.<\/p>\n Keep reading to discover all the ways to join the fun, connect with fellow Knights and celebrate Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ spirit all week long.<\/p>\n Note: <\/strong>Comedy Knight and Concert Knight are ticketed events<\/strong> with free admission for current students with a valid Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ ID. \nBring a blanket or chair to Memory Mall and support your fellow Knights as they showcase their special talents. This event is free for both the community and Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ students.<\/p>\n
\nCatch an epic\u202fshowing of Superman<\/em>, plus a short film competition and concessions.<\/p>\n
\nDive into the biggest foam party of the semester. Splash into a giant foam pit and bubbly pool, enjoy tacos and ice cream, play water games and more. The first 200 attendees will get free rubber ducks and exclusive Foam Splash T-shirts.<\/p>\n
\nThe nation\u2019s biggest homecoming tradition is back. Students will be able to run into the Reflecting Pond and attempt to catch the famous homecoming duck. There will be special guest speakers, as well as performances from the cheer team, Knightmoves, and Marching Knights. The event is free and open to both Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ students and the community.<\/p>\n

\nThe Shining Knights Alumni Awards<\/a> honor Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½\u2019s outstanding alumni and community leaders who have significantly contributed to the university and the community. The Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ Alumni family is honored to recognize nine honorees at this year’s reception. Tickets to the event are $75 per person<\/a>\u202fand include a pre-reception with heavy hors d\u2019oeuvres, cocktails and dinner.<\/p>\n
\nJoin Knight Nation for a family-friendly Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ festival celebrating the eve of the big football game. Enjoy live music, food, beverages, carnival games and special appearances, then cap off the evening with a one-of-a-kind fireworks spectacular. Register to attend<\/a>.<\/p>\n
\nHead to the Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½\u202fFAIRWINDS Alumni Center three hours before the Knights charge the field to take on the West Virginia Mountaineers. Admission to this family-friendly zone is complimentary for all Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ alumni and guests.<\/p>\n
\nHead to the ultimate tailgating experience, hosted by the Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ Black Alumni Community, three hours before the Knights take on the West Virginia Mountaineers. \nThe Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ Greek Community is hosting its annual Trick or Treat on Greek Street. This family-friendly event brings Halloween fun to the Central Florida community \u2014 and everyone\u2019s invited.<\/p>\n
