The much-anticipated Homecoming Week<\/a> is back this fall, bringing a full lineup of unforgettable events for students, alumni, faculty and staff. From Oct. 13-19, a variety of activities \u2014 including special events for Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ alumni \u2014 will take place across both the main and Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Downtown campuses.<\/p>\n

Keep reading to discover all the ways to join the fun, connect with fellow Knights and celebrate Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ spirit all week long.<\/p>\n

Student and Community Events<\/h2>\n

Note: <\/strong>Comedy Knight and Concert Knight are ticketed events<\/strong> with free admission for current students with a valid Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ ID. Tickets for the public may be purchased through Ticketmaster.<\/p>\n

Oct. 13 \u2013 Knights Got Talent | Memory Mall | 7-9 p.m.<\/strong>
\nBring a blanket or chair to Memory Mall and support your fellow Knights as they showcase their special talents. This event is free for both the community and Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ students.<\/p>\n

Oct. 14 \u2013 Movie Knight: <\/strong>Superman<\/em><\/strong> | Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Student Union, Pegasus Ballroom | 7-10 p.m.<\/strong>
\nCatch an epic\u202fshowing of Superman<\/em>, plus a short film competition and concessions.<\/p>\n

Oct. 15 \u2013 Comedy Knight:\u202f<\/strong>Karlous Miller<\/strong>\u202f| Addition Financial Arena | Doors open at 7 p.m., show starts at 8 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Enjoy a night of laughs with comedian Karlous Miller, known for the 85 South Show<\/em> and Wild N\u2019 Out<\/em>. Admission is free for all Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ students. Non-Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ students can purchase $25 tickets on Ticketmaster.<\/p>\n

Oct. 14 \u2013 Foam Splash | Communication and Media Building Plaza, Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Downtown | 12-2 p.m.<\/strong>
\nDive into the biggest foam party of the semester. Splash into a giant foam pit and bubbly pool, enjoy tacos and ice cream, play water games and more. The first 200 attendees will get free rubber ducks and exclusive Foam Splash T-shirts.<\/p>\n

Oct. 16 \u2013 Concert Knight: JT and SoFaygo | Addition Financial Arena | Doors open at 7 p.m., show starts at 8 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Experience a high-energy Concert Knight featuring Miami rapper and special guest SoFaygo, a rapper from Michigan. Admission is free for all Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ students. Non-Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ students can purchase $25 tickets on Ticketmaster.<\/p>\n

Oct. 17 \u2013 Spirit Splash | Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Reflecting Pond | 12-2 p.m.<\/strong>
\nThe nation\u2019s biggest homecoming tradition is back. Students will be able to run into the Reflecting Pond and attempt to catch the famous homecoming duck. There will be special guest speakers, as well as performances from the cheer team, Knightmoves, and Marching Knights. The event is free and open to both Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ students and the community.<\/p>\n

Oct. 17 \u2013 Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Volleyball vs. University of Arizona | The Venue at Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ | Match begins at 6 p.m.<\/strong>
\nThe Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ women\u2019s volleyball team welcomes Big 12 opponent Arizona. For more information, visit\u202fucfknights.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Oct. 17 \u2013 Ignite the Knight | Memory Mall | Event starts at 6 p.m., fireworks start at 8:30 p.m., weather permitting\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Bring your own towel, blanket, or chair to sit on and enjoy live music, carnival games, food, beverages, and special appearances. Then cap off the evening with a one-of-a-kind fireworks display.<\/p>\n

Oct. 18 \u2013 Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Football vs. West Virginia | Acrisure Bounce House | Kickoff: 1 p.m.<\/strong>
\nCheer on the Knights as they take on the West Virginia Mountaineers during the homecoming game. Purchase game tickets on Ticketmaster or through the Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Athletics Ticket Office at 407-823-1000. For more information, check out the Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Gameday Guide<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Alumni Events<\/h2>\n

Oct. 16 \u2013 Shining Knights Alumni Awards Reception | Pegasus Ballroom, Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Student Union | 6-9 p.m.<\/strong>
\nThe Shining Knights Alumni Awards<\/a> honor Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½\u2019s outstanding alumni and community leaders who have significantly contributed to the university and the community. The Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Alumni family is honored to recognize nine honorees at this year’s reception. Tickets to the event are $75 per person<\/a>\u202fand include a pre-reception with heavy hors d\u2019oeuvres, cocktails and dinner.<\/p>\n

Oct. 17 \u2013 Ignite the Knight | Memory Mall | 6-8:30 p.m.<\/strong>
\nJoin Knight Nation for a family-friendly Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ festival celebrating the eve of the big football game. Enjoy live music, food, beverages, carnival games and special appearances, then cap off the evening with a one-of-a-kind fireworks spectacular. Register to attend<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bonus: Volunteer to support Trick or Treat on Greek Street<\/a> by bringing sealed, individually packaged Halloween candy, small toys or crafts. These items will be collected at Ignite the Knight.<\/p>\n

Oct. 18 \u2013 Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Alumni Tailgate | Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ FAIRWINDS Alumni Center | Three hours before kickoff<\/strong>
\nHead to the Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½\u202fFAIRWINDS Alumni Center three hours before the Knights charge the field to take on the West Virginia Mountaineers. Admission to this family-friendly zone is complimentary for all Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ alumni and guests.<\/p>\n

Oct. 18 \u2013 Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Black Alumni Community Family Reunion and Tailgate<\/strong>\u202f| Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ FAIRWINDS Alumni Center | Three hours before kickoff<\/strong>

Oct. 19 \u2013 Trick or Treat on Greek Street<\/strong>\u202f| Greek Park Drive | 2-5 p.m.<\/strong>
\nThe Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Greek Community is hosting its annual Trick or Treat on Greek Street. This family-friendly event brings Halloween fun to the Central Florida community \u2014 and everyone\u2019s invited.<\/p>\n
