Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ ranked 33rd on the Kiplinger list, which includes colleges that combine excellent economic value with an outstanding education.<\/p>\n<p>Just this week, the international news service Reuters published a story describing how Central Florida is \u201cbenefiting from above average jobs growth\u201d and \u201ca booming health sciences complex.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Many Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ graduates remain in the Metro Orlando area, and they will enter the job market with less debt than most of their peers around the country.<\/p>\n<p>Reuters noted that Metro Orlando has added 23,000 jobs in the 12-month period ending in February. That\u2019s nearly half of the total number of jobs added in Florida during that time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Commencement Details<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>More than 7,100 Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ students anticipate graduating this spring. They include 5,950 who intend to receive bachelor\u2019s degrees and 1,075 who expect master\u2019s degrees. The graduates also include 60 students who plan to earn Ph.Ds.<\/p>\n<p>Ceremonies will be held at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Friday, May 6, and Saturday, May 7, at the Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Arena. The procession of graduates will begin 20 minutes before the start of each ceremony.<\/p>\n<p>The 9 a.m. ceremony on May 6 will feature graduates of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/college\/business-administration\/\">College of Business Administration<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/college\/engineering-computer-science\/\">College of Engineering &amp; Computer Science<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/college\/optics-photonics\/\">College of Optics and Photonics<\/a>. The speaker will be Seminole County Commission Chairman Brenda Carey.<\/p>\n<p>The 2 p.m. ceremony on May 6 will include graduates of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/college\/arts-humanities\/\">College of Arts &amp; Humanities<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/college\/health-professions-sciences\/\">College of Health &amp; Public Affairs<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/college\/nursing\/\">College of Nursing<\/a>. The speaker will be Ava Parker, chair of the Florida Board of Governors, which oversees the state\u2019s 11 public universities.<\/p>\n<p>On May 7, the 9 a.m. ceremony will feature graduates of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/college\/community-innovation-education\/\">College of Education<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/college\/graduate-studies\/\">College of Graduate Studies<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/college\/undergraduate-studies\/\">Office of Undergraduate Studies<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/college\/rosen-college-hospitality-management\/\">Rosen College of Hospitality Management<\/a>. The speaker will be Richard Maladecki, president of the Central Florida Hotel and Lodging Association.<\/p>\n<p>The final ceremony, at 2 p.m. May 7, will include graduates of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/college\/medicine\/\">College of Medicine<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/college\/sciences\/\">College of Sciences<\/a>. The speaker will be Waymon Armstrong, president and founder of Engineering and Computer Simulations Inc. and the 2010 National Small Business Person of the Year.<\/p>\n<p>Guests must have tickets to attend the ceremonies. Guests without tickets are welcome to view live closed-circuit telecasts of the ceremonies from the F<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/location\/fairwinds-alumni-center\/\">AIRWINDS Alumni Center<\/a> across from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/location\/addition-financial-arena\/\">Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Arena<\/a>.
