The Citizens for Clean Energy coalition will host an educational forum at Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½ to discuss the potential for new clean energy jobs here in the Sunshine State.<\/p>\n
The presentation is part of a three-university tour across Florida.\u00a0The Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½ event will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, in the Cape Florida Ballroom of the Student Union.<\/p>\n
The goal of the tour, called “It’s all about jobs,” is to communicate the importance and economic potential of a renewable energy industry in Florida to students, faculty, businesses and communities.<\/p>\n
Panelists will include representatives from Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½’s Florida Solar Energy Center, NextEra Energy, IBM, Siemens, Kitson and Partners and Citizens for Clean Energy. The representatives will discuss issues relating to Florida’s economy and the role of the energy sector.<\/p>\n
