\u201cYou might find us in front of the classroom or in the office down the hall and yet never suspect the secret we share. We are artists. Whether we have exhibited in galleries around the world or have never shown our work before, we are artists. We present to you our dreams, our hearts, our passion\u2026We are the Hidden Artists.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ has many talented employees who use their creativity in their daily jobs. Some of these employees are \u201cvisual artists\u201d who create artwork on their own time for themselves, their families and\/or for the public. They are the \u201cHidden Artists.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mark your calendar:<\/em>
\nMeet the \u201cHidden Artists\u201d during an opening reception from 4 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, in the Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Library, Room 223. <\/strong>Entertainment will be provided by Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ student guitarist, Aaron Lingelbach. Everyone is welcome to attend.<\/p>\n

    Artwork will be exhibited on the Art Wall<\/strong> as well in five glass display cases<\/strong> and encompasses a variety of styles and mediums, including stain glass, photography, mixed media, acrylic, watercolor, oil, sculpture, graphic, digital, and \u201cnature\u201d art.<\/p>\n

    Becoming a tradition, this is the fourth year the Hidden Artists will exhibit artwork at the Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Library. \u201cWe already reserved the gallery space for August 2013,\u201d says Judy Pardo, coordinator for the Hidden Artists. \u201cFor new blossoming artists, exhibiting at the Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Library is a friendly step into the art world,\u201d says Pardo. \u201cMany Hidden Artists have gone on to enter juried exhibitions and had their work displayed in other galleries.\u201d<\/p>\n

    The Hidden Artists exhibition will be on display at the Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Library on August 1-31. Visit the Hidden Artists on Facebook at: www.facebook.com\/hiddenartists<\/a> and click on \u201cLike.\u201d<\/p>\n

    The exhibition brings together creativity and community. Hidden Artists membership is open to currently working Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ faculty or staff members who create artwork. For more information, email: judyart23@aol.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n
