A ribbon cutting ceremony and scholarship reception was recently held to recognize Wells Fargo\u2019s continued support of the Professional Selling Program. As part of their gift to the College of Business Administration, the banking industry leader funded 14 student scholarships. Additionally, a room within the Selling Lab (BA II, Room 221) has been named for them and a plaque was hung outside the door.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to the following scholarship recipients:\u00a0Maricela Arosemena<\/strong>,\u00a0Hope Barnecott<\/strong>,\u00a0Natalia Bryzhnik<\/strong>,\u00a0Noelle Cipollini<\/strong>,\u00a0Melissa Diers<\/strong>,\u00a0Jamie Gregor<\/strong>,\u00a0Lauren Jenkins<\/strong>,Esther Lamarche<\/strong>,\u00a0Hang Phan<\/strong>,\u00a0Andreina Restrepo<\/strong>,\u00a0James Sang<\/strong>,\u00a0Kira Schmidt<\/strong>,\u00a0Bethany Walti<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Christin Williams<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Wells Fargo selected to support the Professional Selling Program because they are committed to assisting programs that:<\/p>\n

  • Promote academic achievement for low to moderate income students<\/li>\n
  • Advance teaching through professional development and support<\/li>\n
  • Facilitate merit-based access to higher education for underrepresented groups<\/li>\n
  • The Professional Selling Program is a highly selective program that is limited to 35 students each year. It is one of only approximately 50 specialized sales undergraduate programs in the nation.<\/li>\n
