She was a <a href=\"https:\/\/finaid.ucf.edu\/types-of-aid\/pegasus-programs\/requirements\/\">Pegasus Silver Medal Scholarship<\/a> winner and was on the Dean&#8217;s List.<\/p>\n<p>Joining her in the competition were six other Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ students and recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/alumni-giving\/\">Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ alumni<\/a>: Dasha Gonzalez, Sara York, Danielle Mueller, Mandi Jo John, Tara Szczepanski and Jaclyn Raulerson.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Rachael Todd, a spring Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ graduate from Oviedo, won the Miss Florida pageant July 12 in St. Petersburg\u00a0and will go on to compete in the Miss America Pageant in Las Vegas in January.\u00a0Rachael competed as Miss Suncoast, and her platform is &#8220;The Changing Face of Homelessness.&#8221; While at Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½, Rachael served as vice president of the Kappa Delta sorority.
