Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ students will charge into the Reflecting Pond while Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½\u2019s cheerleaders and Marching Knights cheer them on during Spirit Splash, Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½\u2019s award-wining campus tradition.<\/p>\n
The annual pre-Homecoming game pep rally will begin at 1 p.m. Friday. This year, ESPN2 will be on hand to capture the festivities.<\/p>\n
Those who can\u2019t make it to Spirit Splash can watch the event live via a Google+ \u201cHangout on Air.\u201d Spirit Splash will be broadcast here<\/a>.<\/p>\n Spirit Splash has been hailed as the best university tradition in the state by Florida Leader<\/em> magazine for college students. In 2011, the event received the best campus tradition award from the National Association for Campus Activities.<\/p>\n Homecoming activities conclude Saturday when the Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ Knights take on the Houston Cougars at 7 p.m. at Bright House Networks Stadium.Campus will open for tailgating at noon, and this year\u2019s Homecoming king and queen will be crowned during the game\u2019s halftime.<\/p>\n
