For the 2014 postseason, fans will not have to travel far to support the Knights. Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ will take over the Bay Area once again for the 2014 Bitcoin St. Petersburg Bowl, where it will face NC State on Friday, Dec. 26, at 8 p.m. on ESPN.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;After a 9-3 season we are very happy to go to the Bitcoin St. Petersburg Bowl,&#8221; head coach George O&#8217;Leary said. &#8220;Obviously a bowl game is a great reward for the players, the program and the fanbase. We are very anxious to get to St. Petersburg and enjoy the bowl and its festivities. It will be a great experience for our players and fans.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This will be Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½&#8217;s third bowl trip to Tropicana Field, and its seventh bowl game in the last 10 seasons. NC State carries a 7-5 overall record and went 3-5 in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
