Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ has recently enjoyed memorable trips to Arizona and Ireland. For the 2014 postseason, fans will not have to travel far to support the Knights. Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ will take over the Bay Area once again for the 2014 Bitcoin St. Petersburg Bowl, where it will face NC State on Friday, Dec. 26, at 8 p.m. on ESPN.<\/p>\n
“After a 9-3 season we are very happy to go to the Bitcoin St. Petersburg Bowl,” head coach George O’Leary said. “Obviously a bowl game is a great reward for the players, the program and the fanbase. We are very anxious to get to St. Petersburg and enjoy the bowl and its festivities. It will be a great experience for our players and fans.”<\/p>\n
This will be Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½’s third bowl trip to Tropicana Field, and its seventh bowl game in the last 10 seasons. NC State carries a 7-5 overall record and went 3-5 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. It completed the regular season by defeating Wake Forest and North Carolina in its final two contests.<\/p>\n
