{"id":67667,"date":"2015-08-17T17:09:13","date_gmt":"2015-08-17T21:09:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/?p=67667"},"modified":"2025-06-17T14:35:33","modified_gmt":"2025-06-17T18:35:33","slug":"memory-mall-tailgating-spots-snapped-up-for-home-opener-against-fiu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ucf.edu\/news\/memory-mall-tailgating-spots-snapped-up-for-home-opener-against-fiu\/","title":{"rendered":"Memory Mall Tailgating Spots Snapped Up for Home Opener Against FIU"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On Monday, Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ students and alumni reserved all available tailgating spots on Memory Mall for the Knights\u2019 home opener against Florida International University on Sept. 3.<\/p>\n<p>All spaces were taken within a few hours of the new \u201cKnights on the Mall\u201d reservation system going live at 10 a.m. Monday.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the first season students and alumni are able to reserve prime tailgating space on Memory Mall, where there\u2019s a new slate of entertainment including food trucks, live bands in the Student Government Association tailgating area and giveaways for students.<\/p>\n<p>The Student Government Association and the university have worked together, with support from the Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Alumni Association and Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ Athletics, to develop the new tailgating experience that allows fans to reserve space rather than show up first thing in the morning to stake out a spot.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s possible that some fans who reserved spots may cancel their reservations. Monitor the Knights on the Mall Twitter and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/knightsonthemall\">Facebook<\/a> accounts for up-to-the-minute information.<\/p>\n<p>Only spots on Memory Mall must be reserved.
