Varadraj Gurupur, PhD, is a faculty member in the Healthcare Informatics, PSM<\/a> at the Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½. He also serves as an associate professor in the Department of Health Management and Informatics. In addition to working in the healthcare industry for several years, he has more than 7 years of teaching experience and has served as a teacher in two different countries. <\/p>\n

In fall 2020, Gurupur was awarded the Outstanding Engineering Educator Award from IEEE Orlando for his contribution towards teaching difficult engineering courses in an online environment to students from non-technical academic backgrounds in the Masters in Healthcare Informatics program. His core research is focused on software engineering decision support systems for healthcare and education. Gurupur continues to work on discovering innovative solutions to difficult problems associated with Electronic Health Records. <\/p>\n
