When the nation faced a shortage of personal protective\u00a0equipment, two groups from Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ partnered with 3D\u00a0printer manufacturer Stratasys to help alleviate the\u00a0demand. By tweaking designs they found online, Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½’s\u00a0Prototype Development and 3D Print Lab (PD3D)\u00a0optimized rapid production through Stratasys’ 150\u00a0printers nationwide<\/a>. Limbitless Solutions joined\u00a0Stratasys’ national coalition to produce visors for face\u00a0shields and other items to help keep medical workers\u00a0safe<\/a>. Products from both Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ organizations have\u00a0recently been distributed to local healthcare<\/a> workers,\u00a0including more than 5,600 face shields and visors\u00a0for Orlando Health, AdventHealth and Lakeland\u00a0Regional Hospital.
