Teams of four took on a military-style obstacle\u00a0course for the 15th annual Iron Knight Challenge.\u00a0In partnership with local and national government\u00a0agencies, the event provides a pathway for high school\u00a0students to attend Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½<\/a> and join the university\u2019s ROTC\u00a0program or become a professional first responder.<\/p>\n JROTC youth and adult challengers from across\u00a0Florida completed the 4-mile race as they made their\u00a0way around Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½\u2019s campus, leaving no comrade behind.\u00a0In this test of physical and mental endurance, 41 teams\u00a0emerged victorious this year and received a knight\u00a0helmet as trophies.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was great to see Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ connect\u00a0with its surrounding community\u00a0and build relations with all the\u00a0high schools and first responder\u00a0groups in the area.\u201d<\/p>\n
