\"\"\u00a0BIOGRAPHY: \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tiffany earned her Bachelor\u2019s (2014) and Master\u2019s Degrees (2017) from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA focusing on marine ecology and conservation. Her thesis research used satellite telemetry and stable isotope analysis to better understand inter-nesting behavior and foraging migrations of olive ridley sea turtles in Gabon, Africa. Her work was directly used in implementing a Marine Protected Area near the nesting beach site offering protections for multiple sea turtle, shark, ray, and marine mammal species. Tiffany earned her Ph.D. in Integrative and Conservation Biology from Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½ in 2025 and was awarded the University\u2019s Order of Pegasus award in the same year. She is currently continuing her research as a STEM postdoctoral scholar in the Marine Turtle Research Group and lecturer in the Biology Department at Â鶹ӳ»­´«Ã½.<\/p>\n

RESEARCH: <\/strong><\/p>\n

Tiffany\u2019s current research focuses on evaluating sea turtle health and immune systems across physiological states and life stages. She uses blood parameters as health and immune proxies to test for relationships during reproductive periods, across disease states, and across life stages. Overall, she is broadly interested in exploring how species use their habitat and in turn, how biological and environmental factors influence habitat use.<\/p>\n
