The annual ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½ Faculty & Staff giving campaign, believe, kicked off on Friday at a celebration held at the Morgridge International Reading Center. Attendees were given the red carpet treatment as they posed with ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½βs celebrity mascot, Knightro, and munched on movie-themed refreshments.
Dr. Hitt welcomed faculty and staff and thanked everyone for their continued dedication and support. βWhether this is your first campaign or your seventh, I hope you will join Martha and me to advance the strong tradition of giving at ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½,β he said.
Last yearβs campaign reach an all-time high level of participation and support and Dr. Hitt noted that βbreaking records is nothing new for us at ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½.β He expressed confidence that new records would be broken this year as he announced a 2013 campaign goal of $1 million.
