Members of the ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½ community and the public are invited to βFood 4 Thought,β a weeklong celebration at ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½ that will highlight sustainable food.
Events will run from Monday, Nov. 14, through Friday, Nov. 18. They will include a film screening, guest speaker and panel discussion. Other highlights include a luncheon featuring locally-sourced ingredients and a tasting of responsibly-sourced coffee.

βFood 4 Thoughtβ is hosted by ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½ Dining Services in partnership with the ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½ Library, I.D.E.A.S. for ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½, E.Co, the ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½ General Education Program Unifying Theme and Slow Food Orlando.
Throughout November, ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½ Dining Services and the ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½ Library also are hosting an exhibit that focuses on sustainable food initiatives at ΒιΆΉΣ³»΄«Γ½, in the community and throughout the globe.
The green-minded food lovers exhibit includes books such as βFood Rulesβ by Michael Pollan and βWaste and Wantβ by Susan Strasser, and films such as βThe Coveβ and βA Crude Awakening.β
