From Spirit Splash and Homecoming to basketball games and Rent-a-Pup, the ΒιΆΉΣ³»­΄«Γ½ campus was the place to be.
Spirit Splash
October 14 β€“ Students clamber for 2016’s collectible rubber duck, the signature souvenir tossed to participants during Spirit Splash. The popular Homecoming tradition allows Knights to charge into the Reflecting Pond for a wet and wild pep rally.
Knights Got Talent
October 12 β€“ Student Linda Solange won first place and fan favorite at Knights Got Talent for her rendition of Beyoncé’s β€œListen.”
ΒιΆΉΣ³»­΄«Γ½ homecoming King and Queen
October 15 β€“ Kevin Louidor and Sabrina JΓ©rΓ΄me were crowned ΒιΆΉΣ³»­΄«Γ½β€™s first black Homecoming queen and king. 
On the Rise
November 17 β€“ Center Tacko Fall went for the slam dunk in the season opener against Mississippi State, as the Knights took home their first win with Johnny Dawkins as head coach.
ΒιΆΉΣ³»­΄«Γ½ Women’s Basketball
January 1 β€“ The Knights took on the No. 1 University of Connecticut Huskies at the CFE Arena.
Mentoring Celebration
January 30 β€“ BET News correspondent and CNN political commentator Marc Lamont Hill was the keynote speaker at the 23rd annual Joseph C. Andrews Mentoring Celebration.
Memory Mall Chalk Art Festival
February 1 β€“ Students covered the sidewalks near Memory Mall with colorful self-expressions during this year’s Chalk Art Festival.
Memory Mall Hammock
February 1 β€“ A student kicked off his shoes and relaxed in a hammock on Memory Mall.
Knights Plaza
February 9 β€“ As part of a recent renovation, Knights Plaza now features a large Pegasus and a shaded seating area.
Rent-A-Pup
February 9 β€“ As part of Rent-A-Pup, students borrowed shelter dogs from Pet Rescue by Judy for an afternoon, giving the pups a chance to get out of their kennels.
