In a battle of logic, strategy and mental endurance, a team of three Knights spent five hours solving complex real-world problems to secure seventh place in the 2022 North American Championship of International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC). The competition, which was hosted at Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½, pits teams from 50 elite institutions against each other for a chance to earn one of 17 spots at the World Finals. Rising above competitors from Stanford, Columbia, Harvard and Cornell, Âé¶¹Ó³»´«Ã½ Computer Programming Team Iris — which includes students Daniel West and Seba Villalobos — has secured their second chance to prove they’re world champions.
