The Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½ Research Foundation (Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½RF) was created in 1991 as a non-profit direct support organization of Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½ to promote, encourage and provide assistance to the research activities of University faculty, staff and students. Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½RF accepts and administers contracts, grants, and other sponsored activities as well as appropriate donations, the majority coming from private funds. In addition, Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½RF provides the mechanism for making Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½ discoveries, inventions, processes and work products available to the public. The Â鶹ӳ»´«Ã½RF also assists with the economic development initiatives of the University.
